My books

Have I written anything you might have read?

Probably.

Over the years, I’ve written a lot of short stories and novellas under a variety of pen names and I’ve ghostwritten a textbook, two novels, a biography, and a book of political philosophy. These works have been translated into more than 60 languages and published internationally. No, I’m not going to tell you which ones they are. I used a pen name for a reason and I’m not going to try to take credit for the books I’ve ghostwritten.

I have, however, written a few things under my own name, mostly in literary magazines and short story anthologies. I used to keep a few of them on this website so I could just send a link when people asked what kind of fiction I write. When I redesigned the site, I took them off and converted a couple of the short stories into Amazon Kindle format. You can find all of them now on my Amazon Author’s Page.

My favorite of these is the novella Coyote and the Seventh Arrow which is available in paperback and as an ebook. It’s a story I wrote for my daughter long before she was able to read. I’ve been handing it out to people who found my website by researching the western esoteric tradition for about 15 years. I decided to let it go public this year in honor of my daughter’s upcoming 21st birthday and to make it easier for people to get a copy.

Before this spring, the only way you could get a copy of Coyote was to find my website and e-mail or chat back and forth with me long enough that I decided you were sincere and worthy and then when you asked the right question, I’d offer to e-mail you the book.

If you decide you like my writing, feel free to let me know and check out my Amazon Author’s Page from time to time. Now that it exists, I’ll probably continue to add to it.

Love, light and life,
Darryl Riser
