Knocked out two Letters to Santa sections today and realized that with early deadlines because of holidays, I have 30 minutes today and Monday to put together a front page for my own newspaper.
I decided to procrastinate by looking for a Christmassy pic from the past by digging through the morgue for the Christmas 1980 issue and found this front page.
Apparently, the editor that year solved the problem I’m facing by saying “Merry Christmas, y’all. I’m going home.”

This is serious business, because this is a large part of how sexism, racism, homophobia, rape culture, ethnocentrism, etc. continue to happen.
